We honor the life and nursing legacy of Noemi Sangria, a devoted nurse whose compassion, skill, and steadfast service touched countless lives. Noemi graduated from Marion School of Nursing in Manila, Philippines, in 1963, beginning a lifelong calling to care for others with dignity and grace. 

She later continued her education at the University of Phoenix, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1996. Throughout her remarkable career, Noemi served patients and families in Texas, Florida, Massachusetts, Chicago, and California, bringing comfort, knowledge, and kindness wherever she was needed. She worked in many areas of nursing, including intensive care and gastroenterology, and retired from Kaiser in 2007 after 33 years of dedicated service. 

As the Nurse Honor Guard, we pause in gratitude for her healing hands, her compassionate heart, and her unwavering commitment to the profession of nursing. Noemi’s light lives on in the patients she comforted, the families she supported, and the nurses she inspired.
